The wallpaper comprises along the side edges of its front decorated face (5) easily breakable engaging junction parts (7,7',8,8'). These are formed from sections of self-fastening strips provided with fixing means (6,6') formed from continuous narrow strips of adhesive foam. The user, after pasting the rear face (2) of the wallpaper can thus hold the wallpaper folded into two superposed parts, their front decorated face facing so as to prevent a spontaneous sticking on itself of the wallpaper by its rear face.
