<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of optically reading/recording information. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of optical information reading and recording is carried out on an optical recording medium R. In the optical recording medium R, a coating film C is formed as a reflection preventing film on a side on which light is made incident to carry out at least one of information reading and recording.
