<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for non-magnetic one-component contact development excellent in not only fixing characteristic such as fixing property at low tempera ture, offset resistance and transmittance in fixing an OHT image but also restraint of fogging, filming, dripping and fusion on a photoreceptor, and making the fixing property compatible with developing property. <P>SOLUTION: The toner used for non-magnetic one-component contact development is the toner incorporating at least binding resin, a colorant, and a release agent, and an unfixed image is formed with the toner. Assuming that the elution amount of wax in the case of immersing the unfixed image in hexane under the environment of 23°C and 60%RH is C(N) and that in the case of immersing the unfixed image formed with the toner in hexane under the environment of 23°C and 60%RH after heating it at 100°C for two minutes is C(H), relation of 1.10≤C(H)/C(N)≤5.00 holds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
