<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling fixture engagement portion on a side wall member wile maintaining a wide magnetic passage area of the side wall member constituting a part of a magnetic passage. <P>SOLUTION: This electromagnetic clutch device comprises torque transmission members 3, 5, a clutch 7 provided between the members 3, 5, the magnetic material side wall member 25 assembled on the member 3, an electromagnet 19 for opening/closing the clutch 7 via the magnetic passage a part of which is the side wall member 25, and short-circuit preventing means 89 provided interrupting the side wall member 25 for preventing the short-circuit of magnetic force. The fixture engagement portion 95 is provided on the short-circuit preventing means 89 for putting a fixture in engagement with the member 3 during assembling the side wall member 25 thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
