<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimal receiving sensitivity at all the time in both opening and closing states in a folding portable terminal incorporated with a GPS antenna. <P>SOLUTION: A GPS antenna 10 can be freely rotated with a rotary shaft 16 as a center while being linked with opening/closing of a main body 1. Thus, the surface of the GPS antenna 10 having a better receiving sensitivity (receiving plane) is rotated to change the direction and even in the states of opening the main body 1 (a) and closing the main body (b), the GPS antenna 10 is rotated to the optimal direction at all the times such that a desired GPS signal receiving sensitivity can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
