PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the difference from the last sampling time of first scan to the first sampling time of second scan becomes large when observing a wide range, and that consequently since the difference of reliability between hypotheses generated by a track correlation circuit 6 becomes small, discrimination between a hypothesis wherein a target track is actually correct and a hypothesis wherein the target track is wrong becomes difficult, to thereby deteriorate the success rate of tracking initialization.
SOLUTION: When calculating the reliability of a hypothesis set by a track candidate setting processing part 5, a reliability calculation circuit 42 calculates the reliability of the hypothesis on the assumption that the Doppler velocity of the target is constant.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
|
