PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for turning off power of an electronic apparatus upon detection of leakage of refrigerant liquid from the circulation circuit thereof in the liquid cooling system of the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: A flowmeter is disposed, as a first means, in the circulation circuit of refrigerant liquid in the liquid cooling system of an electronic apparatus and the leakage is detected when the flow rate decreases abruptly during operation of the circulation circuit. Leakage sensors are disposed, as a second means, in the vicinity of a component, i.e., a joint, of the refrigerant liquid circulation circuit and a flexible tube connected therewith and a decision is made that the refrigerant liquid has leaked when the leakage sensor detects leakage when starting a personal computer. A plurality of liquid level sensors are disposed, as a third means, in a tank provided in the refrigerant liquid circulation circuit and the leakage is detected based on the degree of decrease detected by the liquid level sensor. When the leakage is detected by these means, power supply to the electronic apparatus can be interrupted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
