PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a terminal seal portion which reduces curing time when the terminal seal portion is manufactured and has excellent sealability and durability. SOLUTION: This cord switch 10 consisting of a tubular insulating material having elasticity, and a plurality of conductive members which are retained by the inner surface of the insulating material along the longitudinal direction thereof so as to be spaced from each other, made of conductive resin covering a core wire and them, and serve as electrodes has, on its end, seal portions 20a, 20b made of hot-melt resin. After applied, the hot-melt resin is cured as extremely fast as 10 seconds to 3 minutes, thus reducing curing time. In addition, the resin seeps well, thus coming into close contact with the conductor, conductive resin, and the insulating material satisfactorily.
