MAGNETIC PATTERN TRANSFER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic pattern transfer apparatus that brings a master medium with a magnetic pattern recorded thereon close to a slave medium, applies an external magnetic field to the slave medium to transfer the magnetic pattern to the slave medium and minimizes a decentering amount of the center of rotation between the slave medium and the magnetic pattern to be transferred. SOLUTION: The magnetic pattern transfer apparatus detects a decentering vector of the magnetic pattern transferred to the slave medium with respect to the master medium and uses a medium relative positioning mechanism to correct the relative position between the master medium and the slave medium and to transfer the pattern again thereby minimizing the decentering amount.
