PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication device capable of receiving traffic information or the like matching with a vehicle model. SOLUTION: In this communication device, an attribution information about a vehicle is stored in a toll settlement storage part 6 of an automatic toll settlement part 102 communicating for automatically settling a toll of a toll road. The toll settlement storage part 6 can be an IC card detachable from the automatic toll settlement part 102. An information processor 9 holds attribution information read from the toll settlement storage part 6 by a toll settlement control part 8. An optical beacon part 100 or an electric wave beacon part 101 generates uplink information transmitted to an optical beacon on-road unit or an electric wave beacon on-road unit and uplinks the information. The uplink information includes a vehicle model classification included in the attribution information.
