A multi-layer gas and odour barrier film comprising a gas and odour barrier layer and at least one outer layer made of a blend of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/alkyl-acrylate/methacrylate copolymer, a silicone elastomer (1-15% of total blend weight). Also disclosed is its use in bags or containers that are used in draining and collecting excretion products from patients whose excretive apparatus has been reconstructed/deviated.
