<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus which can realize higher communication rate and can eliminate erroneous operation. <P>SOLUTION: The component mounting apparatus comprises a host computer communication means 11; a mounting control means 12 to control the mounting apparatus 3 and to collect error information and status information from the component mounting apparatus 3; a communication command table 31 including a command control flag 33 which is set to any one of execution allowable and execution inhibited for each communication command 21; and a communication command management means 32 which makes the relevant communication command 21 execute the corresponding operation, only when it is proved by reference to the communication command table 31 that the command control flag 33 of the communication command 21 received by the host computer communication means 11 is set to the execution allowable, and transmits the error information or status information collected by the mounting control means 12 to the host computer communication means 11 for transmission to the host computer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
