<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having an interior unit body to be installed in a horizontal attitude even if a wall surface is inclined. <P>SOLUTION: While a receiving part 1b is projected from on the rear surface of a base 1 of a body, in the central part of an installation plate 9, an inclination adjustment part 10 consisting a protrusion 9c provided with an insertion hole, a fastening nut 9d fixed to the back side of the protrusion 9c by welding and corresponding to the insertion hole, an adjusting bolt 11 screwed in the fastening nut 9d from the body side and with its head part 11a facing the receiving part 1b, and a locking nut 12 located at and screwed in the front side of the installation plate 9 is provided.
