PWM INVERTER AND ITS CURRENT DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PWM inverter employing a two-phase modulation system or a three-phase modulation system in which a current can be detected without fail when a voltage vector is outputted by setting a voltage vector duration not shorter than a minimum set time easily and surely without altering the modulation system greatly.

SOLUTION: The PWM inverter is arranged to determine a voltage vector such that the voltage vector duration is not shorter than a current detectable time with reference to a conversion table and to output a voltage vector not shorter than a predetermined minimum set time.
