<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce a contactless IC card system into a medical site. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna coil 11 with a shield box 12 with an open front, and a switch SW are housed in a case 41, and a gate circuit 32 is interposed between the antenna coil 11 and a reader/writer. The switch SW opens the gate circuit 32 to cause an electromagnetic wave by a high frequency signal S<SB>a</SB>from the reader/writer to be output from the antenna coil 11.
