<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which air-conditioning property and the stability of operation are improved. <P>SOLUTION: An outdoor control unit 17 computes air-conditioning demand loads demanded by indoor units 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d based on the differential temperature of an inlet temperature and an indoor preset temperature of each of the indoor units 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, and basic capacity of each of the indoor units 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d to control the capacity of a compressor 10 based on the air- conditioning demand loads. It also controls the heat exchange capacities of the outdoor heat exchangers 11a, 11b, and corrects the air-conditioning demand loads in order to bring a blow off temperature of each indoor units 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d close to the target blow off temperature when there is a difference between blow off temperature of each of the indoor units 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d and the target blow off temperature to be set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
