PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor in which a rotor is shrinkage-fitted onto a crankshaft with high positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: This rotary compressor includes a motor part which is formed by shrinkage-fitting the crankshaft 10 having a rotating shaft on one side into a shaft hole provided in a core 8b of the rotor 8 and a compression part driven by the rotating shaft rotated by the rotation of the crankshaft. A stopper 20 having a D-shaped engagement hole 20a is provided at a core edge surface on the opposite side to the rotating shaft of the rotor part. A step surface 10b meeting the stopper, a D cut shaft 10d which is extended in the axial direction from the step surface and engaged with the engagement hole, and an auxiliary shaft 10e which is extended in the axial direction from the D cut shaft are provided on the other side of the crankshaft. As a result, positioning in the axial and rotational directions and shrinkage-fitting the crankshaft into the rotor are performed exactly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
