A closure comprising a neck and cap assembly for use with a container having a body, where the neck and cap assembly comprises a base closed by a foil and adapted to be fitted to the body. The closure also comprises a removable annular flange (30) connected to a pull ring (42) and secured to the foil, where the removable annular flange (30) being separated from the base by a frangible region and a plurality of depending teeth each having a saw tooth profile inclined inwardly to a centre of the base formed in the base in or adjacent to the frangible region such that on removal of the pull ring (42) the foil is torn by the teeth. |
