Fruit in two conveyors (1,2) each rest on a pair of rollers and are driven by them in rotation. The fruit pass a first analyzing station (5) with pairs of cameras (8,10) (9,11) at either side then a second station (6) with a pair of cameras (12,13) vertically above and finally a third station (7) with cameras (14,15) vertically above. Initial rotation speed is set for average diameter and the negatives used for analysis are selected after correction for real diameter.
