<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic toll collection and reception system capable of precisely performing the leaving management of a vehicle with a pole-like load loaded thereon by separating the vehicle with a pole-like load loaded thereon without beating the pole-like load by the bar of a departure control machine. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle detector 24, vehicle detecting functions are separated into upward and downward parts, and when another vehicle is present under a pole-like load, a lane server 17 acquires detection information from the upper and lower parts. When no detection information is obtained from the lower part of the vehicle detector 24, the lane server 17 judges as the leaving of the tail of the vehicle 4 from a lane. When no detection information is obtained from both the upper and lower parts of the vehicle detector 24, or the pole-like load of the vehicle is not detected, the lane server 17 performs the closing control of the bar 11 of the departure control machine 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
