<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a device by uniform procedure while utilizing a conventional standard graphical user interface as it is. <P>SOLUTION: When the graphical user interface corresponding to an available device is transmitted to an UniInt proxy 3, it is converted to be fitted to a display means of an output device 5, and transferred to the display means. A user can control an available device only by transferring a proper command from an input device capable of being used at the present. Whereby the UniInt proxy 3 converts the transferred command into the event fitted to the general- purpose intercommunication protocol, and transfers the same to an application 1, regardless of the kind of the input device 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
