PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle device which sprays a super-fine quantity of lubricating oil at a sufficient discharge speed certainly to a part which requires most the lubricating oil according to the type of bearing. SOLUTION: The spindle device is equipped with a lubricating device for supplying a fine quantity of lubricating oil through a nozzle 80 to an angular ball bearing 62a at a discharge speed of 10-100 m/sec, the discharging oil quantity being as less as 0.0005-0.01 ml/shot. The discharging direction of the lubricating oil from the nozzle 80 is directed to the contacting position with balls 41 of the inner ring 64 of the bearing 62a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
