PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool type hydraulic solenoid operated valve, eliminating the need for air bleeding work for releasing an operating oil to the air without giving the influences of a pressure change of a tank on solenoid operation parts. SOLUTION: The spool type hydraulic solenoid operated valve for controlling the direction and/or flow rate of the operating oil with the slide of a spool comprises the spool having a plurality of lands, two solenoid operation parts and a body having a plurality of ports partitioned with a wall. Grooves 6a are provided in the upper and lower parts on the outer periphery face of the first land 5a of the spool 4 and a first slide contact portion 10a and a second slide contact portion 10b formed across the groove has slide contact with a first partition wall 9a of the body 3. Grooves 6b are provided in the upper and lower parts on the outer periphery face of the second land 5b and a third slide contact portion 10c and a fourth slide contact portion 10d formed across the groove has slide contact with a second partition wall 9b of the body.
