PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change mechanism for driving an optical device by providing a different motion speed to a driven member. SOLUTION: The speed change mechanism comprises a base, a first sliding member, a second sliding member, and a fixing device. The base has a first surface. The first sliding member having a second surface slides on the first surface. The second sliding member having a third surface slides on the second surface. The third surface contacts with the driven member to drive the optical device. The fixing device selectively fix the first sliding member to the base or the second sliding member. In driving the second sliding member, the first sliding member is fixed to the base or the second sliding member, and the different motion speed is provided to the driven member, thereby driving the optical device.
