SOLAR LIGHT TRACKING APPARATUS USING LENS

PURPOSE: A solar light tracking apparatus is provided to achieve improved accuracy of position tracking and prevent an erroneous operation of the apparatus even when the intensity of solar light is low. CONSTITUTION: A solar light tracking sensor(10) includes a sun position sensing photo diode and a solar light sensing photo diode. A lens is mounted on the center aperture of a cylindrical sensor housing, and the sun position sensing photo diode is mounted on the center of the lower end of the cylindrical sensor housing in every directions so as to sense the position of the sun. The solar light sensing photo diode is arranged in the edge of the upper surface and position adjacent to the inner surface of the lower end of the cylindrical sensor housing. The solar light tracking sensor is connected to a motor control unit(30) for operating a sun tracking device through a sun tracking device controller(20) using a micro processor.
