PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shortage in charging through neglect to check the remaining amount of battery in an electric vehicle traveling by driving a motor using battery power. SOLUTION: When a starting switch 11 is turned off and in this state traveling is finished, charging is urged by a charge urging means 8 on the basis of the remaining amount of a battery 1 detected by a detecting means 12.
