PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display module capable of being applied to many of various applications used in electronic devices like mobile phones, mobile information terminals, etc., which are conventionally provided with each display panel for only displaying information with respect to its device. SOLUTION: The display module 100 is constituted detachable from a mother machine (a mobile phone 200). The display module 100 is capable of being attached to an another mobile phone or a fixed telephone after detached, and therefore sharing information such as names, telephone numbers, etc., between a plurality of telephones. The display module 100 is also capable of being attached to a refrigerator, etc., conformed to a predetermined standard, and displaying the temperatures of chillers, freezing compartments, etc. The display module 100 alone functions itself as an electronic address book with a clock.
