PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower, which effectively taking in the outside air and blowing strong wind upon taking in the outside air into a multiblade fan and blowing cooling air from a blowing opening, and also to provide an electronic apparatus or a projection type display therewith. SOLUTION: An air blower includes the multiblade fan, and a cylindrical casing surrounding the multiblade fan. The cooling air is blown off from the blowing opening formed at the casing by the rotation of the multiblade fan. An auxiliary fan is mounted on a driving shaft of the motor for rotating the multiblade fan, and the multiblade fan and an auxiliary fan is rotatingly driven by the same motor, so that the outside air is guided to the suction opening of the multiblade fan.
