PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate lubricating oil discharged together with compressed gas from a discharge port, to prevent the separated oil from being discharged into a cycle, to enable recirculation usage of the oil, and to suppress noise from a compressor. SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a compressor 19 constituting the refrigerating cycle, a condenser 21, a restriction device 23, and an evaporator 17. The compressor 19 is constituted by fitting a spiral blade 53 so as to advance and retract from/to a spiral groove 51 with various pitches on the outer periphery of a rotary body 43 and a plurality of working chambers 55 of which the displacement volume sequentially changes are axially provided in a cylinder 41. The discharge port 61 is connected and communicated with the working chambers on the terminal end side. A closed space chamber 63 for separating the compressed gas from the lubricating oil R which are delivered from the discharge port 61 together is provided to prevent the lubricating oil R from being discharged into the cycle, and an oil drainage hole 67 communicating with the inside of a sealed case 25 is provided at a lower part of the closed space chamber 63.
