PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for correctly and continuously measuring and evaluating any oil leakage of an injector. SOLUTION: An oil leakage evaluating device for the injector to detect any fuel leakage from the injector 1 in a non-operating state comprises a vessel 2 facing an injection port 3 of the injector 1, a dilute gas feeder 17 to distribute a dilute gas to the vessel 2, and analyzers 22 and 23 to continuously measure the concentration of the predetermined composition constituting the fuel in the dilute gas.
