PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a photographing frame number displayed at nearly the center part of a photographic picture frame. SOLUTION: The prewinding camera provided with a film feeding means for winding a film (22) from a cartridge (21) when the film is loaded, and successively rewinding the film to the cartridge (21) at photographing, and a counting means for counting the perforations of the film (22), and wherein the terminal part of the film is rewound by the prescribed quantity up to a photographing start position after the film (22) is wound up to the terminal part, is characterized in that it is provided with a control means for deciding the rewinding quantity from the terminal part to the photographing start position based on the counted value of the counting means.
