PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic device for improving fuel oil which efficiency improves combustion effect and fuel economy by efficiently decomposing and segmenting a molecule cluster in the fuel oil. SOLUTION: The magnetic device for improving fuel oil has a complex structure of a combination of a magnetic circuit of a closed system for applying a strong and effective magnetic flux to fuel oil in a fuel oil pipe, a cylinder body including minus ion generating ceramics and/or the other minus ion generating solid, and any compensating part. Thus, combustion efficiency of gas oil and gasoline is increased, the fuel economy is improved, and hence exhaust gas is decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
