PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of determining oil leakage from each injector with high accuracy. SOLUTION: When an engine speed in Fig. 8(a) reaches a target value, and is stabilized, the determination of oil leakage is started. If an oil leakage injector is fitted to a predetermined cylinder, an air-fuel ratio becomes rich corresponding to the predetermined cylinder as shown in Fig. 8(b). Thus, an abnormality is determined for each cylinder. Firstly, before an A/F sensor is activated, an oil tightness abnormality counter H1 is counted up based on the fluctuation of a rotational speed, and after the A/F sensor is activated, the oil tightness abnormality counter H1 is counted up based on the fluctuation in the air-fuel ratio. If the count number of the counter H1 exceeds a predetermined determination value, it is determined that the oil leakage of the injector occurs. Oil leakage can be determined in the injector of each cylinder with high accuracy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
