PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact development system for a wet type electrophotographic image forming machine in which a system from the preparation of a developer up to its supply ad recover is simplified. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a developer tank 150 storing a developer, a developing container 140 storing the developer supplied from the tank 150, a developing roller 110 arranged in the container 140 so as to be rotated oppositely to a photosensitive body 170, and a pumping means 220 connected to the container 140 and the tank 150 through connection pipes. The pumping means 220 supplies the developer from the tank 150 to the container 140 or supplies the developer discharged from the container 140 to the tank 150. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
