<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller fan capable of restraining fluctuations and development of eddy generated at a blade top end part and a blade edge part of the propeller fan, preventing peeling-off on a blade surface, and increasing wind amount. <P>SOLUTION: This propeller fan 2 comprises a cylindrical boss 4 and a plurality of blades 5. A curvature surface of the blade 5 is formed out of an outer surface 4a, a front edge 5a, an outer edge 5b, a rear edge 5c and the blade top end part 5d for smoothly jointing the front edge 5a with the outer edge 5b, and a rear joint part 5e for smoothly jointing the outer edge 5b to the rear edge 5c of the boss 4. A recess 12 is formed as a notching part at a prescribed position of the rear edge 5c of the blade 5. The fluctuations and development of the eddy are restrained by the recess 12, peeling-off on the blade surface is prevented, and efficient blowing is performed by increasing wind amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
