PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To centralize the management of the data on all properties in a system corresponding to its structure by consolidating the same on the basis of a predetermined data structure. SOLUTION: In this computer system, one or more host computers 2 in the system are provided with a means for informing the data of properties of a self-device to a management server 1 in accordance with the predetermined data structure, and one or more hardware devices 3 in the system are provided with a means 5 similar to the means 4, and the management server 1 comprises a means 6 for managing the data of properties informed from the means 4, 5 in correspondence to the predetermined data structure.
