PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extensional building at a low cost thereby creating an elaborated design by securing structural strength of a roof truss of the extensional building without removing substrate plate for an existing building when constructing the additional building to the eaves portion of a sloped roof of the existing building. SOLUTION: The extensional building 3 stated above comprises a foundation portion 17 built at the outer side of an exterior wall and a wall body portion 18, strut portions 26 erected from the substrate plate 13 constituting a sloped roof 7A of the existing building 2, an additional roof truss 27 assembled on the wall body portion 18 utilizing the strut portions 26, a roof surface portion 28 for the addition worked for the roof truss 27, and a roof joint portion 29 for jointing the roof surface portion 28 for jointing in a waterproof state to a sloped roof 7A of the existing building 2.
