PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe nut capable of ensuring sufficient fixing strength in the axial direction of a pipe as well as in the peripheral direction of the pipe. SOLUTION: This pipe nut is constituted in such a way that it is provided with a cylindrical part 2 inserted into a hole 8 drilled in the pipe 7 and a head part 3 formed on one end side of the cylindrical part 2 and a part of the cylindrical part 2 is buckled by pulling in operation of the other end side of the cylindrical part 2 and is abutted on an inner peripheral face of the pipe 7. A thin-walled part 5 having a smaller wall thickness than that of a section positioned in the peripheral direction of the pipe 7 is formed in a section positioned in the axial direction of the pipe 7.
