PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily carriable distress beacon transmitting tool kit capable of surely transmitting a distress beacon. SOLUTION: This portable distress beacon transmitting tool kit comprising a contractible or foldable balloon 2 and a cylinder compressively filled with a gas smaller in specific gravity than air, which are housed in a portable bag 1 wearable on the waist of a person, is characterized in that the balloon 2 is formed of a balloon body having one opening part and a plug member connected to the opening part, and the balloon 2 is tied to the portable bag through a connecting cord 3, the plug member comprises a gas filling port provided with a check valve capable filling the gas into the balloon, a transmitter for transmitting a distress beacon radio wave, and a flashing light.
