摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier system whose carrying capability is improved by minimizing the decrease of the speed of an unmanned carrier at a confluent part or a branch part. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a plurality of unmanned carriers #1-#N traveling along paths and a carriage controller 12 for controlling the traveling of those unmanned carriers. The carriage controller 12 is provided with a passage order searching means for searching the order of the passage of the unmanned carriers passing through a confluent part, a movable path range setting means for setting the movable path range of a pre-confluent first path, a pre-confluent second path, post-confluent path, and the confluent part for each unmanned carrier based on the searched result of the passage order searching means, and a movable path range changing means for changing the movable path range of the unmanned carriers before passing the confluent part according to the passing situations of the unmanned carriers at the confluent part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
