<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dry toners which have excellent electrostatic charge characteristics and fixing characteristics and are excellent in matching with an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The dry toners contain toner particles containing at least a binder resin, a wax component and the monoazo coloring agent expressed by the following constitutional formula (1) and external additives and are characterized in that the transmittance indicated by the maximum absorption peak derived from the coloring agent appearing in a region of 500 to 600 nm in a methanol solution or dispersion obtained by dissolving or dispersing 1 g toners into 25 ml methanol, then filtering the toners with a filter of 45 nm in pore size is 70 to 98%.
