<p>The invention concerns hybrid cords, a method for obtaining same and a composite fabric for use in a tyre which incorporates said cords. The invention also concerns a tyre and a mounted assembly incorporating each such a composite fabric. The inventive composite fabric is characterized in that it has a final tangent modulus/initial tangent modulus ratio higher than 10. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said hybrid cord comprises a textile core of initial modulus less than 900 cN/tex and a textile cover of initial modulus more than 1300 cN/tex wound around said core.</p> |
