Tree root protection ground level grid linked to sub-surface structure by metal ring wall

摘要

A tree planted in a public place is surrounded at ground level by a first e.g. circular metal grid (5) and below the surface by a second circular protective structure (4). The ground-level grid and sub-surface protective structure are linked esp. by an upright metal ring wall (1) having an inward-directed tabs (6) in contact with the bottom face of the ground-level grid. The ring wall (2) further has an outward-directed lip (2) on contact with the upper surface of the sub-surface structure (4).
