A plurality of barrels (4) with small parts (2) are rotatably mounted in an e- coating line including a coating section (7) and a curing section (8). After coating of the parts (2) within the coating section (7), the barrels (4) are moved directly through the curing section (8). In both the coating section ( 7) and the curing section (8), the barrels (4) are rotated to create a complete coating of each part (2) and to subsequently cure the coating within the sam e barrel (4).
