The construction comprises the following features: (a) The protector(1) is made from concrete with a strength of at least 65 N per square millimetre(B65) (b) The protector permeates the flat cover(2) and has a profile(12) around the outer surface in the proximity of the permeated position (c) The concrete of the flat cover is sealed in the vicinity of the profile at the outer surface of the protector (d) The strength is such that vertical loads from the flat cover can be transferred via the profile on the protector The profile may be made up of horizontally running grooves(13) and may have a zig-zag shaped cross-section. The flanks of the grooves may be inclined at angle of less of 45 degrees against the horizontal.
