SECURITY SYSTEM USING OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

A security system using an optical information recording medium can simultaneously read ROM-RAM information. The security system can receive data from an optical information recording medium including a by-stage symbol recording area for recording an identification symbol for identifying the medium, an ROM area for recording plain text data, and a magneto-optical recording film formed at an area corresponding to the ROM area for recording encrypted data of the plain data encrypted. There is provided a recording medium containing a decryption program for decrypting the encrypted data. The recording medium includes a reception unit for receiving the encrypted data according to a data transmission request in accordance with the identification symbol identifying the optical information recording medium, a recording unit for recording the encrypted data received by the reception unit onto the recording medium, and a decryption unit for decrypting the encrypted data recorded on the recording medium by using the aforementioned decryption program.
