Computer mouse for control of a graphic user interface of a computer using a cursor that is controlled using a mouse button. According to the invention a conventional mouse with left (12) and right (13) mouse buttons has an additional button (14) that is activated with a very light force of less than 50 g. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for controlling windows on a computer display by use of the additional key to control movement of the scroll bars. A second additional button (15) can be used to highlight the edges of a window and the window title with mouse movement then used to change the position of the window horizontally and vertically.
