The invention relates to a container which meets ISO norms, and is used as a mobile working area for civil and military shelter. Said container comprises a cuboid metal frame consisting of ISO corners (13, 31) which are connected by edge profiles, heat-insulated lateral walls, and a heat-insulated cover and base. Said edge profiles consist of two parts, and the two partial profiles (10, 11; 23, 20-22) of an edge profile extend parallel to each other. The intermediate region between two partial profiles (10, 11; 23, 20-22) is completely filled with a heat-insulating material (40), and the lateral walls, cover and base comprise a vacuum-insulating layer (2).
