Shafts (0-6) and gearshift devices (03,04,13,14,16) couple up single-link planet sets (P1-P3) of gearing. The shafts and gearshift devices along with brakes (03,04) and clutches (13,14,16) use selective gearshift to engage forward and reverse gears. Selective gear engagement in twos causes different transmission relationships between a drive shaft (1,An) and a driven shaft (2,Ab). A sun wheel for a third planet set (TPS) (P3) fastens to a casing without rotation. The drive shaft links only to the clutches. The driven shaft connects to a ring gear in a first planet set (FPS) (P1) and to a link in the TPS. A third shaft (3) makes a continuous link (CL) with a link in the FPS and a ring gear in a second planet set (SPS)(P2). A fourth shaft (4) makes a CL with a sun wheel in the FPS. A fifth shaft (5) makes a CL with a ring gear in the TPS and with a link in the SPS. A sixth shaft (6) makes a CL with a sun wheel in the SPS.
