The invention relates to a method and device for recovering separated cigarette packs having given valuation signs. The aim of the invention is to obtain a final recovery based on the values represented by the cigarette packs that are separated or to be separated which should result in significantly reducing the costly manual operations for sorting. To this end, the method involves the following essential steps: routing (1) cigarette packs into and/or out of a separating area (13), whereby the routing ensues while maintaining a defined position of the cigarette packs; maintaining and/or setting (2) a conveying position of cigarette packs out of the separating area (13); conveying (3) position-stable cigarette packs, and involves additional following steps: pre-registering (8) valuation signs (65); devaluing (9) valuation signs (65), and; post-registering (10) devaluated valuation signs (66), whereby the steps pre-registering (8) valuation signs (65), devaluing (9) valuation signs (65), and post-registering (10) devaluated valuation signs (66) are executed during the conveyance (3) of the cigarette packs (18) whereby being able to achieve an evaluation (11) of both registrations (8, 10) with a recovery (12) of the given values in a recovery area (16). |
